District Governor's Project
The District Governor Projects for 2019-20 will support for the following:
Peace Centers and the Peace Fellow Program offered by Rotary International.
Rotary partners with 6 Universities around the world to create Peace Centers that offer an advanced degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution.  Rotary International awards 100 peace Fellows each year and currently has over 1,200 graduates of the program worldwide.  Throughout the 2018-2019 Rotary year District 7280 intends to build awareness among our membership of the Peace Centers, their Graduates, and encourage financial support from members, clubs and District 7280.

HANWASH stands for Haiti National Clean Water, Sanitation and Health Strategy: a collaborative, national initiative by Rotary District 7020, The Rotary Foundation and DINEPA (The Haitian Government’s National Water and Sanitation Agency), partnering with other NGO’s such as Haiti Outreach and Pure Water for the World, committed to providing thoughtfully managed and sustainable clean water and sanitation to all the citizens of Haiti, along with the associated health, community and economic benefits.

Rise Zambia
RISE Zambia provides scholarships for higher education in technical and trade fields for students in rural Zambia. In collaboration with the Shulman Family, 14+ Foundation announced the initiative in 2015, strengthening the belief that each RISE Scholar can create a better future for themselves and for their country.
