District Grants

District Grants (formerly District Simplified Grants)

Clubs in District 7280 are encouraged to apply for a district grant up to $1500 to complete a project in their area or outside the district. Grant applications are accepted from July 1 to August 31 of each Rotary Year.  The funding for grants varies each year since the calculation is based upon giving to the Foundation by the District.

The criteria to qualify for a grant is the completion of Grant Management Seminar. At least 2 members from the club, one being the incoming President, EACH YEAR, must attend an annual Grant Management Seminar, which are held online, to qualify for a grant.  The seminars are also offered at the same time as the District Assemblies.  In addition, clubs must complete the Memo of Understanding (MOU) and submit to Patty Meehan by mail to 171 Woods Rd., Greenville, PA  16125, or by email to meehanmong@verizon.net

Upon completion of the Grant Management Seminar, clubs must also submit a Grant Application for the program/project to be completed.  Grant applications must be submitted by August 31, 2019.

Grants are matching grants, so the club is responsible to contribute one-half of the project cost to qualify.

Please download and submit the completed form to PDG Patty Meehan at 171 Woods Rd. Greenville, PA  16125 of by email to meehanmong@verizon.net. Completed grant forms may be scanned but please make sure that all the information for each section is complete.

Grants are paid out when completed.  Submit the final report form with receipts and other information requested on the final form. Grants will not be paid out until the Grant Management seminar is completed.  Funds must be spent by June 30 of each year.
